- 1929 Born in Tokyo
- 1948 Graduated from Waseda Business School
- 1953 Graduated from the Department of Commercial Science,Waseda University
Upon graduation,became employed in business consultancy
- 1974 Built a kiln in the hills of the Boso district of Chiba Prefecture and began making pottery.
- 1976 Studied under the late Seinen Yamamoto
- 1978 Work selected for the Kofu-Kai Exhibition(subsequently,work selected each year until 1985)
- 1981 Became a member of the Chiba Prefecture Arts and Crafts Society
Became a member of the Chiba Prefecture Society of Arts
Moved studio to Ichikawa City and built a new kiln
- 1982 Work selected for the Japan New Craft Exhibition
- 1986 Exhibitor and member of Ichikawa City Art Exhibition
- 1988 Awarded the Mayor's Prize at the Ichikawa City Art Exhibition
- 1989 Awarded the Chairman's Prize at the Ichikawa City Art Exhibition
- 1990 Awarded the Mayor's Prize at the Ichikawa City Art Exhibition
Recieved an invitation from the China Art and Craft Committee
- 1992 Became a judge at the Ichikawa City Art Exhibition
- 1994 Awarded the Tsuchiya Cultural Promotion Foundation Prize
- 1995 Held the 'Konoha-Tenmoku Special Exhibition'
- 1996 Held the 'Konoha-Tenmoku Exhibition' at the Cui-Heng Gallery in the National Dr.Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall under the joint auspices of the Taiwan National Dr.Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Chinese Science and Culture Foundation
Permanent acquisition of the Konoha-Tenmoku Platter 'Koten 1' by the Taiwan National Dr.Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
